Biography
Mili Avital is an Israeli actress. She began her career on stage in Israel during her senior year at Thelma Yellin High School of the Arts, appearing in Dangerous Liaisons at the Cameri Theater in Tel Aviv. In 1991 she won the Israeli Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Me'ever Layam (Over the Ocean).
Avital moved to New York in 1993 to study at the Circle in the Square Theatre School. She was cast as Sha'uri in Stargate (1994) and as Thel Russell in Jim Jarmusch's Dead Man (1995). Subsequent film roles include The Human Stain (2003) and Mary (2024). Her television work includes appearances in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Damages and 666 Park Avenue.
She is married to screenwriter Charles Randolph.
