Biography
Mimi Keene is an English actress. She is known for her role as Ruby Matthews in the Netflix series Sex Education (2019–2023) and as Cindy Williams in the BBC soap opera EastEnders (2013–2015).
Born Mimi Roshan Saeed on 5 August 1998 in the Redbridge area of London, Keene trained at the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts from 2009 to 2014. She began her career as a child actress on stage, making her professional debut in the play Kin at the Royal Court Theatre in 2010.
Keene has also appeared in the films Tolkien (2019) as the young Edith Bratt and After Everything (2023). She received British Soap Award and Inside Soap Award nominations for her work in EastEnders.
