Biography
Mimi Lempicka is a French costume designer. She trained as a plasticienne at the Beaux-Arts in Paris and studied art and costume history. She began working in film with Luc Besson's The Big Blue (1988) and designed the costumes for his Nikita (1990).
Lempicka has designed costumes for more than seventy feature films and television productions. Her credits include See You Up There (2017), for which she received a César award, The Wolf's Call (2019), Bye Bye Morons (2020) and The Eddy (2020). She has also worked on stage and published a book of her costume designs.
