Biography
Minami Hamabe is a Japanese actress. She won the New Generation Award at the 2011 Toho Cinderella Audition and made her film debut the following year.
Hamabe gained prominence with her lead role in the 2017 film Let Me Eat Your Pancreas, for which she received the Newcomer of the Year award at the 41st Japan Academy Film Prize. She has since appeared in titles including Shin Kamen Rider (2023) and the NHK drama series Ranman (2023).
In 2023 she played Noriko Oishi in Takashi Yamazaki's Godzilla Minus One. For her performances in that film and Shin Kamen Rider she won Best Supporting Actress at the 66th Blue Ribbon Awards.
