Biography
Miriam Newhouse is a Canadian actress whose screen credits include the role of Mrs. Bookman in the film Dead Ringers (1988). She also appeared in the television series War of the Worlds (1988) as Ellen and in the film Prairie Women (1987) as Violet McNaughton.
Newhouse has worked in theatre, film, radio and television across Canada and internationally. She is the co-author, with Peter Messaline, of The Actor's Survival Kit, a guide to the acting profession.
