Biography
Miroslav Hájek was a Czech film editor. He was born in Prague on 28 October 1919 and died in 1993.
Hájek edited Daisies (1966) directed by Věra Chytilová and Marketa Lazarová (1967) directed by František Vláčil. His other credits include Loves of a Blonde (1965), The Firemen's Ball (1967), Three Wishes for Cinderella (1973) and The Ear (1990). He also worked as assistant editor or in the editorial department on Amadeus (1984).
Hájek contributed to numerous films associated with the Czechoslovak New Wave.
