Biography
Mirrah Foulkes is an Australian actress, director and screenwriter. She was raised on the Sunshine Coast in South East Queensland and began her career in Australian television and film in the mid-2000s.
Foulkes is known for her role as Catherine Brown in the feature film Animal Kingdom (2010). Her other acting credits include Sleeping Beauty (2011), The Turning (2013), The Gift (2015), War Machine (2017) and television series such as Top of the Lake (2013), Hawaii Five-0 (2014–2015), Mr Inbetween (2018–2019) and Harrow (2018). She has also written and directed short films and made her feature directorial debut with Judy & Punch (2019).
In 2013 Foulkes received nominations for Best New Female Talent at the Logie Awards and for Best Actress in a Supporting Role at the AACTA Awards for her performance in The Turning. She is the only female member of the Australian film-making collective Blue-Tongue Films.
