Biography
Mitch Markowitz is a screenwriter. His television credits include episodes of MASH (1979), Van Dyke and Company (1976), Best of the West (1981–1982) and Monk (2002). He was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing in a Comedy-Variety or Music Series for Van Dyke and Company*.
Markowitz wrote the screenplay for the film Good Morning, Vietnam (1987). His other screenwriting credits include the film Crazy People (1990) and episodes of The Facts of Life (1982), Buffalo Bill (1983) and Too Close for Comfort (1980).
