Biography
Mitchell Jason was an American actor who appeared in film, television and on Broadway. Born in Philadelphia, he served in the United States Army during the Second World War and later studied at the Lee Strasberg Theater Institute and Temple University. He began his stage career in Pennsylvania before moving to New York.
His film credits include The Heartbreak Kid (1972), in which he played Cousin Ralph, and Network (1976), in which he played Arthur Zangwill. He also appeared in Soup for One (1982). On stage he performed in numerous Broadway productions, among them the Tony Award-winning Grand Hotel (1989–1992).
