Biography
Miyu Sasaki is a Japanese child actor. Born on 21 June 2011 in Tokyo, she is affiliated with the Top Coat agency and began working in 2017.
She is best known for her role as Yuri (also credited as Juri Hojo) in Hirokazu Kore-eda's Shoplifters (2018), which won the Palme d'Or at Cannes. She was cast alongside Kairi Jo for their first film roles. Other credits include the film Welcome to the Occult Forest: The Movie (2022) and television appearances such as in MIU404 (2020).
