Biography
Moses Brings Plenty, also credited as Mo Brings Plenty, is an Oglala Lakota actor, traditional drummer and singer. Born on 4 September 1969 on the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota, he is an enrolled member of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe.
He began his career in the early 1990s after working as an extra on Thunderheart (1992). Brings Plenty is best known for portraying Mo in the series Yellowstone (2018–2024), a role he reprises as a main cast member in the spin-off Marshals (2026). Other credits include Hidalgo (2004), Cowboys & Aliens (2011), Hell on Wheels (2011), The Good Lord Bird (2020), The Glorias (2020), Jurassic World Dominion (2022) and Lawmen: Bass Reeves (2023). He has also worked as a Native affairs coordinator on Yellowstone and Marshals.
In 2024 Brings Plenty received the New Horizon Award at the Western Heritage Awards.
