Biography
Moana Williams is a New Zealand-based actor of Belgian, Cook Island Māori and Croatian heritage. He began performing on stage at the age of 11, playing Maui in the musical Moana Jr. with Nelson Youth Theatre, and by the age of 15 had appeared in nearly 20 productions, frequently in leading roles.
In 2024 his family relocated to Auckland, where he received two awards through NSPA and Stage Antics. He performed as Bill Austin in Mamma Mia with Westlake Boys College. After appearing in two short films, Williams made his feature-film debut as Young Garrett in A Minecraft Movie (2025). He trains with Actor's Lab and The Actor's Program and is scheduled to join the Broadway Dreams NZ programme in January 2026.
