Biography
Mobutu Sese Seko (14 October 1930 – 7 September 1997) was a Congolese politician and military officer who served as president of Zaire from 1971 to 1997. He appeared as himself in the 1996 documentary film When We Were Kings.
Born in Likasi, Belgian Congo, Mobutu is also credited in other documentaries, including Float Like a Butterfly, Sting Like a Bee (1969) and Children of Africa (1993).
