Biography
Mohamad El Masri is a screenwriter and producer. He trained at Vancouver Film School in its Film Production and Writing for Film, Television & Games programmes. Before entering writers’ rooms he worked in various production roles.
His television writing credits include episodes of Here and Now (2018), October Faction (2020), Soulmates (2020) and Severance (2022). He served as writer and co-executive producer on the second season of Severance and has written for the series Wayward (2025). He has also written and directed the short film Other Other (2024).
El Masri was included on Tracking Board’s 2016 ‘Young & Hungry’ list of emerging writers. He is based in Los Angeles.
