Biography
Mohamad Akil, also credited as Mohammad Aqil or Mohammad Akil, is a Lebanese actor. He was born on 16 March 1961 in Lebanon and is of Lebanese and Brazilian descent.
Akil trained at the National Music Institute, where he studied acting, Eastern singing and the oud. He has appeared in around forty theatrical productions and is known for his role as Mahmood in the film Four Lions (2010). His other screen credits include the series Al Hayba (2017–2021) and the short film Al Hmar (The Donkey) (2018). He has received Best Actor awards for his performances in The Donkey and The Servants.
