Biography
Monica Collingwood (1908–1989) was an American film editor. She began her credited career in feature films in 1947, working on The Secret Life of Walter Mitty and The Bishop's Wife, both for Samuel Goldwyn Productions.
Collingwood received an Academy Award nomination for Best Film Editing for her work on The Bishop's Wife (1947). She later edited episodes of television series including The Whistler (1954–1955), Fury (1956–1959) and Lassie (1959–1973), as well as feature films such as Fangs of the Wild (1954) and Lassie's Great Adventure (1963). She was married to fellow editor Willard Nico from 1927 until his death in 1967.
