Biography
Monica Potter is an American actress. Born Monica Gregg Brokaw on 30 June 1971 in Cleveland, Ohio, she began her career with modelling and commercials before moving to Los Angeles in 1994.
She made her screen debut on the soap opera The Young and the Restless and gained prominence with film roles including Tricia Poe in Con Air (1997), Carin in Patch Adams (1998), Jezzie Flannigan in Along Came a Spider (2001), Alison Gordon in Saw (2004) and Emma Collingwood in The Last House on the Left (2009).
On television she played Lori Colson in Boston Legal (2004–2005) and Kristina Braverman in Parenthood (2010–2015), the latter earning a Golden Globe nomination. She later appeared as a series regular in Wisdom of the Crowd (2017).
