Biography
Morgan Neville is an American documentary filmmaker, producer and writer. Born in Los Angeles, he graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and began his career in journalism before moving into film production in 1993. He has specialised in music documentaries.
Neville wrote, directed and produced the 2013 documentary 20 Feet from Stardom, which won the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature in 2014 and a Grammy Award for Best Music Film. His other notable films include Best of Enemies (2015) and Won't You Be My Neighbor? (2018).
