Biography
Mozhan Marnò, also credited as Mozhan Navabi, is an Iranian-American actress. She was born in Los Angeles and educated at Phillips Academy in Andover, Massachusetts. She holds a BA in comparative literature from Barnard College, Columbia University, and an MFA in acting from the Yale School of Drama.
She is known for her role as Mossad agent Samar Navabi in The Blacklist (2014–2022), appearing as a main cast member in seasons 2–6 and returning as a guest in season 9. Other television credits include Ayla Sayyad in House of Cards (2014–2015) and appearances in The Mentalist (2008), Bones (2005) and Maid (2021). Film roles include Soraya Manutchehri in The Stoning of Soraya M. (2008) and Atti in A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night (2014).
Marnò has also worked as a writer, director and playwright. Her stage credits include the one-woman show Nine Parts of Desire.
