Biography
Murray McNabb was a New Zealand composer and jazz keyboardist. Born in Auckland on 6 March 1947, he worked in the local music scene for over four decades and stood at the forefront of New Zealand jazz.
In the 1990s he collaborated frequently with Murray Grindlay on screen projects and commercials. Their credits include the score for the film Once Were Warriors (1994), the soundtrack for Broken English (1996) and music for the television series Greenstone (1999). McNabb died in Auckland on 9 June 2013.
