Biography
Nabiyah Be is a Brazilian actress and singer. She was born in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil, and is the daughter of Jamaican reggae musician Jimmy Cliff. She graduated with a B.F.A. in acting from Pace University in New York.
Be originated the role of Eurydice in the off-Broadway production of the musical Hadestown in 2016. She won a Drama Desk Award for her performance in School Girls; or, the African Mean Girls Play in 2018. Her film debut came in Black Panther (2018) as Linda. In 2023 she portrayed Simone Jackson in the television series Daisy Jones & the Six.
