Biography

Nacho Ruiz Capillas is a Spanish film editor born in Madrid in 1966. He began editing short films produced by Elías Querejeta in the 1980s.

His credits include The Others (2001), for which he won a Goya Award for best editing, Agora (2009), A Perfect Day (2015) and A Twelve-Year Night (2018). He has received several Medals from the Circle of Cinematographic Writers for best editing and has worked with directors including Alejandro Amenábar, Fernando León de Aranoa and Gracia Querejeta.
