Biography
Nala Sinephro is a Belgian composer and multi-instrumentalist based in London. She works primarily in experimental and ambient jazz, performing on pedal harp, modular synthesisers, keyboards and piano.
Born in 1996 in Brussels, she grew up between Belgium and Martinique. She studied jazz and began releasing music in the early 2020s. Her debut album Space 1.8 appeared in 2021 on Warp Records, followed by Endlessness in 2024.
Sinephro composed, arranged, produced and mixed the score for the 2025 feature film The Smashing Machine, her first work for a theatrical release. The soundtrack was issued by A24 Music and Warp Records.
