Biography
Nancy Coleman (1912–2000) was an American actress who worked in film, stage, television and radio. She began her career in radio in the mid-1930s and made her Broadway debut in the late 1930s, appearing in productions including Liberty Jones (1941).
After moving to Hollywood, she signed with Warner Bros. and made her film debut in Dangerously They Live (1941). She played Louise Gordon in Kings Row (1942) and Katja in Edge of Darkness (1943). Other film roles include The Gay Sisters (1942), In Our Time (1944) and Devotion (1946).
Coleman returned to stage work with credits such as The Sacred Flame (1952) and The Desperate Hours (1955), and later made guest appearances on television.
