Biography
Nancy Schreiber is an American cinematographer. Born in Detroit, Michigan, on 27 June 1949, she graduated from the University of Michigan with degrees in psychology and art history before beginning her career in film.
She was the fourth woman elected to membership of the American Society of Cinematographers and the first to receive its President's Award, in 2017. Her television credits include director of photography on episodes of the FX series Better Things (2016), ABC's Station 19 (2018) and HBO's The Comeback (2005). Feature work includes Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2 (2000), The Nines (2007), It's a Disaster (2013) and Serious Moonlight (2009).
Schreiber has received an Emmy nomination for The Celluloid Closet and an Independent Spirit Award nomination for Chain of Desire, and won Sundance cinematography awards for November and My America... Or Honk If You Love Buddha.
