Biography
Natalia Cordova-Buckley is a Mexican actress. She was born on 25 November 1982 in Mexico City and raised in Cancún. She trained initially as a ballet dancer before studying acting at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts and the California Institute of the Arts.
She is known for her role as Elena "Yo-Yo" Rodriguez in the series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (2016–2020) and for voicing Frida Kahlo in the Pixar film Coco (2017). Other credits include appearances in Bates Motel (2017), McFarland, USA (2015) and Destroyer (2018). She is the granddaughter of Mexican actor Pancho Córdova and has been married to musician and actor Brian Buckley since 2011.
