Biography
Natalie Press is an English actress. She was born on 15 August 1980 in London and studied fine art before beginning her acting career.
Her screen debut came in the short film Wasp (2003), which won the Academy Award for Best Live Action Short Film. She received recognition for her leading role as Mona in My Summer of Love (2004), including awards from the London Film Critics Circle and the Evening Standard British Film Awards. In 2005 she appeared as Caddy Turveydrop (née Jellyby) in the BBC adaptation of Bleak House.
Press has continued to work in independent films and television, with notable roles including April in Red Road (2006), Lara in Fifty Dead Men Walking (2008), which earned her an Independent Spirit Award nomination, and Emily Wilding Davison in Suffragette (2015). She received a BAFTA TV Award nomination for Best Actress for her performance in the 2010 miniseries Five Daughters.
