Biography
Nataliya Potapova was a Russian actress. She was born in Moscow on 12 February 1952 and died there on 7 June 2025.
She graduated from GITIS in 1976, studying under Vladimir Andreev, and joined the Moscow Drama Theatre named after M. N. Ermolova, where she remained for her career. She was named Honoured Artist of the Russian Federation in 1996.
Potapova appeared in more than ninety film and television projects. She is known for her role as Zhenya’s mother in Andrey Zvyagintsev’s Loveless (2017), Flyura Gabdulovna in the series The Boy’s Word: Blood on the Asphalt (2023), and baba Nyura in Kitchenblock (2021).
