Biography
Natasha Narayan is a screenwriter, producer and author. Born in India, she emigrated to Britain as a child and was educated at alternative schools including a Steiner school and a commune. She worked as a journalist for national newspapers including The Observer, The Guardian and the Daily Mail, and reported from abroad in locations such as Albania, Georgia and Sarajevo.
Her television credits include co-creating and co-writing the 2018 ITV drama Next of Kin, on which she also served as executive producer, and writing episodes of the Apple TV+ series Criminal Record (2024–2026). She has written five young adult novels published by Egmont and Quercus, and has developed projects with BBC Studios and other production companies.
