Biography
Nate Lang is an actor. He played Carl Tanner in the 2014 film Whiplash directed by Damien Chazelle, and the same role in the 2013 short film. He also appeared as a lawyer in What Maisie Knew (2012).
Lang is the son of Scott W. Lang, who served three terms as mayor of New Bedford, Massachusetts. He has a brother, Andy, who is a lawyer, and a sister, Sarah, who is a television producer. Lang performs in the rock band the Howlin’ Souls and divides his time between New York and Los Angeles.
Other credits include the role of Ivan in Drunk Wedding (2015) and appearances in the television series The Fuzz (2014).
