Biography
Nathan George (1936–2017) was an American actor. He appeared in film and on stage from the late 1960s to the late 1990s.
On stage he co-won a 1969 Obie Award with Ron O'Neal for his performance in Charles Gordone's No Place to Be Somebody; the role also earned a Drama Desk Award. He directed several stage productions, including Ron Milner's Who's Got His Own in 1970.
His film credits include Klute (1971) as Trask, Serpico (1973), The Taking of Pelham One Two Three (1974), One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975) as Washington, Short Eyes (1977), Brubaker (1980) and Night Falls on Manhattan (1996).
