Biography
Neal Fredericks (also credited as Neal L. Fredericks) was an American cinematographer. He is best known for his work on the 1999 horror film The Blair Witch Project.
Born in Newport Beach, California, Fredericks grew up in Maryland. He attended Montgomery College and graduated from Towson University in 1991. He later moved to Florida, where he shot films for students at the University of Central Florida, and eventually became based in Los Angeles.
His other credits include Dreamers (1999), The Burkittsville 7 (2000), Abominable (2006) and The Stonecutter (2007). Fredericks died on 14 August 2004 in a plane crash while filming aerial scenes for CrossBones over Dry Tortugas National Park, Florida.
