Biography
Neva Small is an American actress and singer. Born in New York City, she began performing as a child, making her singing debut at age 10 with the New York City Opera and her Broadway debut the following year.
She is best known for portraying Chava in the 1971 film adaptation of Fiddler on the Roof. Small has numerous credits on and off Broadway and has appeared in television series including Law & Order (1990) and Law & Order: Criminal Intent (2001). She studied at LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts and New York University's Gallatin School.
Small was married to Dr. Frederic Charles Fenig until his death in 2020.
