Biography
Nibhanani Devi was an Indian Bengali actress who appeared in both silent and sound films. She began her career on the stage before moving into cinema, where she worked across five decades.
She is credited in numerous Bengali films, including Kapal Kundala (1933), Bardidi (1939) and Pather Panchali (1955), in which she played Dasi Thakurun. Sources record her birth on 2 March 1895 and her death on 22 December 1978.
