Biography
Nic Ede is a British costume designer. Born in 1950 in Paddington, London, he has worked in film and television since the late 1970s.
His film credits as costume designer include Nanny McPhee (2005), Flyboys (2006), Me and Orson Welles (2008), Hysteria (2011) and Summer in February (2013). Earlier roles encompass wardrobe supervisor on Greystoke: The Legend of Tarzan, Lord of the Apes (1984) and wardrobe master on Gandhi (1982). He has also designed costumes for television series such as The White Queen (2013), Indian Summers (2015) and World on Fire (2019).
Ede has received Emmy nominations for his television work, including for The Palace (2008) and Butterfly Collectors (1998).
