Biography
Nic Sampson (born 18 November 1986) is a New Zealand actor, comedian and writer. He played Chip Thorn, the Yellow Mystic Ranger, in Power Rangers Mystic Force (2006) and D.C. Sam Breen in The Brokenwood Mysteries (2014–2021).
Sampson has written episodes of The Brokenwood Mysteries and co-wrote series of Starstruck (2021–2023), in which he also appears as Steve. He co-created the sitcom Golden Boy and performed in the sketch series Funny Girls (2015–2018). He is a member of the Auckland improv collective Snort and is based in London.
