Biography
Nicholas Corea, also credited as Nick Corea, was an American television writer, producer and director. Born in St. Louis, Missouri, he served as a US Marine in Vietnam, where he was awarded the Purple Heart, before working as a police officer and later moving into television writing.
Corea wrote and produced episodes of series including The Incredible Hulk (1978–1981), for which he also directed, and created the western series Outlaws (1986). He contributed to Airwolf (1984), Street Hawk (1985), Renegade (1992–1995) and Walker, Texas Ranger (1993–1999), where he served as a writer and creative consultant. He also wrote for Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (1995) and Star Trek: Voyager (1996).
Corea died of pancreatic cancer in Burbank, California, on 17 January 1999.
