Biography
Nicholas D. Johnson is an American film editor, writer and director, also credited as Nick Johnson or Nick D. Johnson. Born in St. Louis, Missouri, he graduated from the University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts in 2013 and is based in Los Angeles.
He served as editor and director of virtual photography on Searching (2018). He later edited Run (2020) and co-wrote the screenplay and co-directed Missing (2023) with Will Merrick. The three films form part of a screenlife thriller series produced in collaboration with Aneesh Chaganty and Sev Ohanian.
