Biography

Nick Cooke is a British cinematographer born on 7 June 1988. He began his career as a camera assistant for the BBC and studied cinematography at the National Film and Television School on a Kodak Scholarship, under Brian Tufano and Stuart Harris.

Cooke’s feature credits include Pikadero (2015), Limbo (2020), for which he received a British Independent Film Award nomination, Make Up (2020) and Anatolian Leopard (2021). On television he shot episodes five to seven of the BBC series This Is Going to Hurt (2022) and episodes of the Netflix mini-series One Day (2024). He has also worked on international productions in India, Pakistan, Dubai and several African countries.
