Biography
Nick Dance is a British cinematographer and member of the British Society of Cinematographers. He has worked extensively in television and film, serving as director of photography on series including Gentleman Jack (2019–2022), The Irregulars (2021), Deep State (2019), Poldark and Doctor Who.
His credits also include Mansfield Park (2007), The Paradise (2012), Grace (2021), The Suspect (2022) and B&B (2017). He has received BAFTA and Royal Television Society nominations for cinematography, and earlier in his career won the BBC TV Search Young Filmmakers Competition.
