Biography
Nicole Garcia is a French actress, film director and screenwriter. Born on 22 April 1946 in Oran, French Algeria (now Algeria), she began her screen career in the late 1960s.
She is known for acting roles including Françoise in One Fine Morning (2022), Anne Pellegrini in the series Lupin (2021), Dr Catherine Bormans in Who You Think I Am (2019) and Janine Garnier in My American Uncle (1980). As a director and writer her credits include From the Land of the Moon (2016), The Adversary (2002) and Selon Charlie (2006), the last of which screened in competition at the Cannes Film Festival. Garcia won the César Award for Best Supporting Actress for Le Cavaleur (1979).
