Biography
Nicollette Sheridan is an English-American actress. Born on 21 November 1963 in Worthing, Sussex, England, she began her career as a fashion model before appearing in the short-lived series Paper Dolls (1984) and the film The Sure Thing (1985).
She rose to prominence playing Paige Matheson on the CBS soap opera Knots Landing (1986–1993), receiving two Soap Opera Digest Awards. Sheridan starred as Edie Britt on the ABC series Desperate Housewives (2004–2009), earning a Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actress in a Series, Miniseries or Television Film in 2005. She later portrayed Alexis Carrington on the CW reboot of Dynasty (2018–2019). Other credits include the films Noises Off (1992), Spy Hard (1996), Beverly Hills Ninja (1997) and Code Name: The Cleaner (2007).
