Biography
Nigel Bennett is an English actor and director. He appeared on the British stage for fifteen years before moving to Canada in 1986.
He is best known for playing the vampire Lucien LaCroix in the television series Forever Knight (1992–1996), for which he received a Gemini Award for best supporting actor in a dramatic series. His film roles include Asgaard in Legends of the Fall (1994), Dr. Whitney in The Skulls (2000) and Mihalkov in The Shape of Water (2017).
Bennett has also appeared in television series including Lexx, The Strain and Dark Matter, and has worked as a director and co-author of novels.
