Biography
Nik Dodani is an American actor, writer and comedian. Born on 19 December 1993 in Dallas, Texas, he was raised in the Phoenix area of Arizona, where he began acting in community theatre. He later studied politics at Occidental College in Los Angeles.
Dodani is known for his role as Zahid Raja in the Netflix series Atypical (2017–2021) and as Pat Patel in the 2018 revival of the CBS sitcom Murphy Brown. His film credits include Escape Room (2019), Dear Evan Hansen (2021), Strange World (2022) and Twisters (2024) as Praveen. He has also performed stand-up comedy, made his Broadway debut in Waitress and appeared in other television series such as Trinkets and Big Sky.
