Biography
Niki Marvin is a British film producer active since the 1980s. She began her career in production with an associate producer credit on the horror film A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors (1987).
Marvin produced the television films Buried Alive (1990) and Strays (1991), as well as The Shawshank Redemption (1994), for which she received an Academy Award nomination for Best Picture. She later served as executive producer on Buried Alive II (1997) and worked on the 2004 miniseries Private Islands as producer, director and writer. Earlier in her career she appeared as an actor in a 1975 stage production of Guys and Dolls.
