Biography
Nina Yang Bongiovi is an American film producer. She co-founded Significant Productions with Forest Whitaker in 2010. Under the banner she produced Ryan Coogler's debut Fruitvale Station (2013) and Rebecca Hall's directorial debut Passing (2021).
She holds a graduate degree in entertainment management from the University of Southern California and is Associate Chair of the Peter Stark Producing Program at USC School of Cinematic Arts. Other credits include Dope (2015), Songs My Brothers Taught Me (2015), Roxanne Roxanne (2017), Sorry to Bother You (2018) and Fancy Dance (2024). She also executive produces the series Godfather of Harlem (2019–).
Bongiovi is a BAFTA nominee and serves on boards including the Producers Guild of America and the Coalition of Asian Pacifics in Entertainment.
