Biography
Nisa East is a documentary cinematographer. Her credits include Time (2020), directed by Garrett Bradley, on which she served as cinematographer.
East's cinematography has screened at festivals including Sundance, Rotterdam, Hot Docs and New Orleans. She has worked with directors including Garrett Bradley, Elaine McMillion Sheldon and Maya Newell, and shot for clients including Solange Knowles and The Guardian USA. She has a background in experimental film and visual ethnography.
