Biography
Noah Keen was an American actor who appeared in numerous film and television productions over six decades. He is credited as the Teacher in Battle for the Planet of the Apes (1973) and played Otto in an episode of The Sopranos (2006). Other screen credits include roles in A Face in the Crowd (1957), Tom Sawyer (1973), Gable and Lombard (1976) and Disorganized Crime (1989), as well as guest appearances on series such as The Twilight Zone, Mission: Impossible, The Six Million Dollar Man and Charlie's Angels.
Keen was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. After graduating from the University of Cincinnati he worked at NBC before pursuing acting. He made his screen debut in the late 1950s and appeared in over one hundred television series. He also directed the short film Helen Keller and Her Teacher (1970) and wrote the short Patriotism (1972).
He served as a bombardier in the United States Army Air Force during the Second World War and received a Purple Heart. Keen died on 24 March 2019 in Harlem, New York City.
