Biography
Noah Reid is a Canadian-American actor and musician. Born on 29 May 1987 in Toronto, Ontario, he trained at the Etobicoke School of the Arts and the National Theatre School of Canada. He began performing as a child, voicing the title character in the animated series Franklin (1997–2004) and appearing in theatre productions including a Toronto staging of Beauty and the Beast.
Reid is best known for playing Patrick Brewer in the television series Schitt's Creek (2015–2020). He received a Canadian Screen Award for Best Supporting or Guest Actor in a Comedy in 2019 for the role. Other credits include the series Outer Range (2022) and films such as Buffaloed (2020) and Disappearance at Clifton Hill (2020). As a musician, Reid released the album Songs From a Broken Chair in 2016 and was nominated for a Canadian Screen Award for Best Original Song for his contribution to People Hold On (2015).
