Biography
Noah Andrew Ringer is an American actor and martial artist. He is known for playing Aang in the 2010 film The Last Airbender and Emmett Taggart in Cowboys & Aliens (2011).
Ringer was discovered through an open casting call while training in taekwondo. He earned a first-degree black belt with the American Taekwondo Association at age twelve and was noted for his resemblance to the animated character Aang. He was homeschooled and has some Native American heritage. In 2011 he received a nomination for Best Performance in a Feature Film – Leading Young Actor at the Young Artist Awards.
